I love managing my forum, but some days I don't work as hard promoting or posting on my forum myself, because I just feel lazy. I'll never give up on it, but sometimes I just don't feel like posting, and other days I am posting a bunch on my forum. Do you ever get lazy on your forum?

I get days like that as well. It's not that I don't want to participate on the forum I just feel like I don't have the energy or I'm too lazy to post. I think everyone gets those days where they just want to relax and take it easy.

I think everyone has those days, no different from a regular job where every once in awhile we just do not want to go in :p I had a forum in the past and I was like that, I am really hoping I can find it in me to spend at least 5 of 7 days a week on my new one.

This thing works somewhat like a campfire. When you put in more firewood, the fire grows bigger. When you get lazy and don't put in more firewood, the fire eventually dies out. Of course, if you keep on adding firewood but nothing is cooking, you might also get lazy. Lazy as in lose motivation to get anything done.

    Hi,

Yes some days I really don't feel like doing anything to promote my forum. But if I listen to myself, days pass and I don't feel the motivation coming back and my forum lose traffic and members. Like it happened last time. So I force myself when I feel lazy

Absolutely. I don't tend to see it as being lazy, though. I see it more like being....casual and natural. I don't have to be 'go, go, go' every day of the week. Sometimes I'm not going to feel like posting or maybe I'm sick of marketing for a couple days. There's nothing wrong with that.
